Wireless Monitoring

Cows can be monitored in various locations including the close-up pen, the fresh pen and the hospital.  Monitoring is not limited to when cows are going through the parlor.  Pictured above: data is transmitted from the cow's reticulum to the repeater at the edge of the pen and on to the office computer.

SmartBolus™ What is it?
SmartBolus is an innovative new solution for health monitoring of your cows.

What does it do for me?
It allows wireless monitoring of health (temperature), estrus (motion) and can provide an imminent calving alert.

How does it work?
The system uses an electronic capsule (bolus) which remains in the reticulum of the cow and periodically transmits data back to the dairy office computer (PC) using repeaters.
